Easter Adventure Day 7

This post will be Part 1 of our last day of our Easter Adventure. Since our flight wasn't until later at night so we kinda still had a full day to do some sight-seeing. We decided to leave the city centre and visit another area of Brussels.

The beginning of the last day of this wonderful trip started with us walking in the rain (with umbrellas) to the nearest Metro station and made our way to Heizel station in order to get to the Atomium.

There it is! The famous Atomium~
We got there a bit before their opening time so we had to wait a bit in the rain before being able to buy our tickets.
Once we got in, we got in a lift to get this this viewing platform~
We were looking down at Mini Europe, another tourist attraction.
Can you spot the miniature Eiffel Tower?

I'm guessing that building in the middle of the photo (furthest away) is the Palace of Justice.

Such a cool escalator~~~
The Atomium was a really unique place to visit. There wasn't much to see inside it aside from the amazing 360 degree view you get of Brussels. But the structure and architecture of it is definitely worth a trip over to see and experience.
