The Photos Continue...

Once again, I'm dumping all the photos I took over the last month (that didn't fit into other posts) into one post! I didn't do a lot of stuff over the last month so there's less photos in this post~
Summer is coming to an end so I guess from now on, not much more sunshine for me to enjoy anymore but I'm enjoying the chilly weather now too. But once it starts getting colder, I'm going to start complaining again.

My last posts, you saw a few photos of this kitty~ This was the first time I saw Kozzi and look how small he was! He grew so much in a such a short time.

Aww... look at those small paws~

I love this top I bought from H&M~ and it was less than £10!

Another recent purchase that I love~ Bought this top from Forever 21.
It was a bit pricey but Forever 21 is always like that. All the nice tops are always expensive, while all the cheap ones are either really ugly or has a really weird cutting and size.
I'm really sad that I only got to wear this top on its own (without a cardigan/jacket) for once. The weather got colder right after I bought it.... :( I'll be waiting for next summer to wear it more.

A selfie before heading out to Oxford Street with Nia~
I curled my hair so nicely that day... too bad I don't have a nicer photo to show it off...
Fyi, I'm not very good at curling my hair with my straightener just yet. I'm still praticing... I can never get the direction I'm curling my hair in right.

The purpose of us going out that day was because I wanted to find a new handbag.
This was us in T.K. Max. Although I saw many many bags, but I haven't decided on one yet. I urgently need one before classes resume again.
Oh, and check out Nia's new pink straight extensions!
And I never realised how common a grey tee and black pants look was until I wore one. I see people wearing the same thing everywhere!

We only had a sandwich for lunch and after many hours of looking for the perfect bag, we were starving!
So... Nia suggested that we go to this place in Soho that had a sushi buffet. I'm sorry I can't rmb the name. I'll find out and come back to edit the name in!
Anyways, we ate A LOT and that meal was definitely worth the price we paid. Nia said during her previous visits, she and her friends always ordered three rounds of sushi (the photo above shows our first round). That night, we ordered 4 rounds.
And it was funny because, we only order two things in our 4th order - our favourite, crispy salmon skin sushi (2 portions of them) - and the waiter came with an extra portion of sashimi.
And we had to finish them because they charge you for wasting food.
I know we shouldve just told them that we didn't order it but the waiter must have misunderstood us while we were ordering... ugh long story.
In short, we had to stuff a lot of stuff into our mouths although we were alr very very full. We both normally have a huge appetite so if we were that full.... that means we really ate a lot.
But we were laughing so so much that night that we hoping that it helped with our digestion LOL We were laughing so much that we were worried the other people in the restaurant would think that we were drunk or high. kekekeke
This was our second order. They have a two different menus to order from. One is for the more expensive stuff which you can only order once and the other menu with cheaper stuff which you can order as many times as you want. And they actually had a time limit you can stay at the restaurant (i think it was one and a half hours) but we were there for about 2 hours. I guess they can't really kick you out, right? hahaha
The most important thing is, we manage to finish our food! Although Nia had to sneak some rice from the sushi and flush it down the toilet XDDD Jsyk, it was her portion of food. I finished mine!

Waiting for the bus, only too realise we didnt take a selfie tgt that day!

Last Sunday... I went to Oxford Street again, but this time to meet with Auntie Veronica.
A lot of interesting things happened that day. Firstly, I got a make-over at the Estee Lauder makeup counter in Debenhams by a male Malaysian makeup artist, who was 52 years old! He didn't look his age at all and he said his secret was Estee Lauder. LOL
He was so friendly and funny despite his constant comments on how bad my skin was. I was just glad he didnt need to see my face 2 years ago.
He even recommended us his favourite Malaysian restaurant in London called Roti King! I would definitely check it out next time~
At the end of that, I had a really nice face of make-up on thanks to him and he didn't even try to sell us anything which I'm always afraid of because how the hell am I supposed to afford anything from Estee Lauder?! But we did ask him what products we used on me for future references hehe
Other than that, we practically just walked around a lot of shops and Auntie Veronica did some shopping for her granddaughter. And before we left Oxford Street to go for dinner.... Auntie Veronica decided to buy me this perfume....
Oh, Lola! by Marc Jacobs~ I have been wanting this perfume ever since I first smelled it. It's sweet and girly which is what I love. Auntie Veronica gets a 25% discount at John Lewis so she bought it for me when she heard me say that I like it.
That's why every time she asks me whether I like something, I always don't answer it in a direct way to prevent things like this from happening because I don't deserve receiving a gift like this from her!
She is the kindest and most generous person I know and I'm so thankful that she cares for me so much.
That aside, while she was trying on some perfumes, the sales assistant asked me what kind of perfumes I liked and I said, "Sweet" and her reaction was, "Oh then I've got to show you this new perfume!"
She brought us over to this newly released Kenzo perfumed called Game of Love and sprayed it for us to smell and OMG it smelled heavenly. It's sweet but it's more sophisticated than the Oh Lola scent.
I have my eyes on that Kenzo perfume now but I probably won't buy it anytime soon....
After that, we got on a bus and headed towards East London for dinner. Auntie Veronica was recommended this Bangladeshi restaurant which ended up being really near where I live and we had a really good meal of spicy Bangladeshi cuisine.

That's all for now. It's too late for my brain to function anymore.
I promised myself that I'll try to get back to a normal sleeping schedule but eff that shit, I'm going to sleep at whatever time I want and wake up at whatever time I want!
Good night.

Eating and more eating!

Following up from my previous post.... I spent the weekend over at Nia's place and these are the stuff we did... and the food we ate~~~ I'm lucky to have a friend that loves to eat and knows how to cook good food kekekeke I'm really just thankful to have a friend like Nia. She's the most caring person who is always telling me to eat and stuffing me with food all the time LOL. I probably gained weight because of her.

Saturday morning's breakfast~ Sry I don't have I better photo of it >__< This is Nia's photo btw

Our plans for the day was to go to Boots in Westfield Stratford to get some hair dye because I kept saying I wanted to dye my hair and Nia always said she would help me dye my hair and so we finally decided to do it that day! We also had to go to Waitrose to get some food~
So before going out, Nia helped me curl my hair~ She loves doing these stuff and she does it very well too.

Me, trying to poke my eye with an eyeliner? LOL So this is how I look when I put on eyeliner... in case you wanted to know kekekeke

We decided to walk a very long way to the shopping centre but thankfully the weather was nice~
This was when we were in Waitrose~ I havent ate a lot of bacon/pancetta in my life but apparently Waitrose has the best...according to Nia... and I trust her taste in food. Try it if you get the chance. It's really good!

We love grocery shopping~
We then also went to Loon Fung in Stratford Centre to get some kimchi and tofu and a lot of other yummy snacks~

Tooooo bright. Selfies on public transport are always awkward.

Us, being twinsies. We both wore block tops with a coral cardigan. The cardigan I was wearing was Nia's.

If you look closely, Nia has purple highlights in her hair~
She used her hair chalks but it didn't end up very visible. She kept asking me all day long whether I could see the colour LOL

There was an event/funfair going on at Mile End Park when we walked past.

Once we got back, we started making dinner~ Well, Nia did most of the stuff, I mainly did the sushi~
As you can see, we had salmon and avocado sushi, kimchi soup, some of those green grass thing which I can't rmb the name of, and some pickled vege (I think) and TOFUUU my faveee

they were sooo yummy. We had the leftovers for breakfast the next morning haha

The kimchi soup was nice and spicy~

Tofuuuu. We watched Memoirs of A Geisha while having dinner which is one of my favourite movies~

my hair before dying it... The colour I chose was a light brown but it didn't turn out to be the colour I wanted but whatever, I'll re-dye it another time.
That night, we ended up going to sleep at around 3 or 4am i think. I spent some time on twitter as well because Beautiful Show 2014 was going on Korea over the weekend!

The next morning~ Maybe due to the lighting, you can't really see the end results of my hair.... :(

Nia helped me do my hair again that morning~
Our plans for the day was to bake so we had to go out to get some ingredients and we decided to go to Brick Lane as well.

Lunch~ yum yum yum nom nom nom

If you saw my most recent instagram video, you'll see we went out in the same twinsies outfit again LOL and went to Brick Lane's food market!
This is how glorious my chicken fajita looked like. If you didn't know already, I love Spanish and Mexican food~~~ I love most kinds of spicy food anyway.

Look at all these fooooooood

I thought my hair colour would be more visible in the sun but still no... I swear you'll see the colour if you see me in person. But I'm sad that I didnt take a good photo of the hotdog we had. It was huge and very delicious! And we couldnt find anywhere to sit so we just sat on the curb of Hanbury Street.

a bit (?) visible?

We were kinda tired when we got back, so we rested a bit before starting to bake!
This is the tiramisu I made!!! I never knew tiramisu was that easy to make~ This didn't turn out very good looking but it was really yummy~

Nia loves baking cupcakes. This time around, she baked banana, coffee and walnut, cinamon and lemon cupcakes. I love her coffee and walnut cupcakes the most, so she let me bring home 2 of them~

The cupcakes freshly out from the oven! yum yum yum

Yup, so that's what happened over the last weekend~
Once again, I'm so lucky to have a friend like Nia and to have friends to hang out with over the summer~
I was so scared I would have to spend the whole summer alone.
Stuff with my job hasn't been going very well... again.... it's so annoying but I believe everything will be alright soon, hopefully. *fingers crossed*
Anyway, I paid my tuition fee for my second year of uni and re-enrolled myself and I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually can't wait for classes to resume again. I just want my life to be organised and have a normal schedule again. I probably would start complaining once uni starts again though LOL

I still have some photos I want to upload so another post full of photos will be up soon~~~
and don't forget to check out my new blog: www.kstylefile.blogspot.co.uk
I havent been posting for some time, but I have posts in the making that will be up soon!

Food-filled Weekend!

I was in serious need of a fun time... so on Thursday afternoon, I was chatting with Nia and I suggested that we go visit Tate Modern the next day! I have wanted to go there for quite a long time but just never felt like going alone and couldn't find someone interested in going, so this was a good opportunity to go out and have some fun!
The museum wasn't that much fun but we made other plans and it ended up being a nice day with the girls~

My hair is getting really long and I feel like cutting it but it's so expensive for a haircut here :(
and I actually wanted to go out with just this strappy top but it was so cold and windy... I'm waiting for the warm weather to come back but it probably won't be back till next May.... But i'm loving the current weather though, it's just that I can't wear shorts (without tights) anymore.

Nia and I take the bus from the same road but from different stops so we always do this hop-on thing where we try not to get on to a different bus from each other LOL
Nia's been away to the Netherlands for her sister's wedding so it was so nice seeing her again after a few weeks~

We walked by St. Paul's on our way to Tate Modern. I probably need to find a day to actually go into the cathedral. The last time I was there was 10 years ago.

The Millennium Bridge ahead!

The Shard.

All the bridges along the river thames.

The photos with the date on the them are taken by Nia~

People have started hanging their locks on the bridge!

Here we are! At Tate Modern~

We only went to the 4 free Tate collections. My friend Veronica can get free passes to go see the other exhibitions so we might go together one day.

Creepy cocoons

weirdly, I like this painting. It's called Moonlight. Should've taken a better photo of it.

There was a deck/balcony area on the second floor where you could see the scenery~

A crystalised engine

I liked this very much as well. You can just 'feel' the emotions it's trying to convey.

"In depression, the motion of the possible is reversed and replaced by the impossible."
So painfully true. Sometimes, it's just so hard to... not lose hope. When you go through that, you really just need to not care about anything or anyone in the world and do something you enjoy and you might find that light of hope again.

More beautiful scenery from the 6th floor of the museum!

After we wrapped it up at Tate, we walked to Borough Market! It's such a beautiful place.
I've been here once last year but didn't really get to fully explore it.

Look at all those glorious sandwiches!

Since there was such a huge variety of food there, we planned to buy lunch there and all we wanted was the burgers there but we alr made plans to make burgers for dinner together. And nothing else at the market really caught our appetite. We only bought some egg tarts and left.

So we walked around the shops near the market and Nia ended up having a Subway sandwich. We then found a place to sit and I found a Spanish food stall selling a chorizo sandwich so I had that for lunch.

After leaving Borough Market, we called Phuong to see whether she was home and decided to go over to her place for dinner! So we headed to nearest Waitrose to buy some ingredients for our burger~ On the way there, while crossing London Bridge, we had to stop for a selfie. LOL

You can see a glimpse of Nia's pink hair~ which I think looks so natural.

We had to stop by 3 stores to get ingredients before hopping on to the tube to get back to Whitechapel, only to go to the big Sainsbury's there to get a few more stuff.
The lighting underground is never good.

Me, looking like a rabbit with my knee poking out LOL Nia kept making fun of my ripped jeans kekeke

When the three of us are gathered together, there's most probably food and (a bit) of alcohol.

Little Kozzi wanted to join in the fun as well! He's grown so much since the last time I met him~

Such a cute kitty :3

When there's a camera with a flip screen, there's always a selfie.
My makeup looks like a different colour in every photo I take.

The burgers we made that night!!! There were so so yummy~~~ Double cheese as well!

The fries were a bit of a fail though. We decided to cook them in the oven but it took a really long time. So after like an hour of cooking it, we decided to turn up the heat... and so of them got tooooo crispy. LOL

A group selfie without leaving out Kozzi~

This is not all though. After dinner, we had some tiramisu! Then Nia and I left to go over to my place to get some stuff and headed to her place for a sleep over~ I ended up staying over on Saturday night as well and only went back to my place on Sunday night.
Photos from the rest of my weekend will be in the next post!
It's almost 3.30am and I'm not tired at all.... I was tired at 2am but I decided to start blogging and.... yeah.
So I should go now.
