What's Up? What's Going On?

Can you believe it's September alr??? TT____TT Where has my year gone.... I'm going to be 20 soon. TT______TT September is my second favourite month of the year, closely behind December, and I wish that September 2014 would be a great one. Last September, a lot went on in my life, lots of changes and new experiences so let's hope this year's would be interesting too.

It's the 8th of September and I've alr done a few stuff worth mentioning on my blog~
You might have seen some of these photos on my twitter and instagram alr but posting them all here again~

The weather this past week has been so nice~ This week is starting out good too. I really should make full use of these few last warm days before it gets colder.

On the 4th of September, I went out with Nia again~ This time around, we went to The Scoop at More London to watch a free movie under the stars! This is a photo of the poppies which are installed all around the Tower of London for the marking of Britain's involvement in WW1.
I read online that there's like more than eight hundred thousand handmade ceramic poppies all around the castle! It's a spectacular view isn't it?

We were a bit late. Well, we weren't late. The movie was supposed to start at 7.30pm and we reached there at around 7.15pm but most of the seats were alr taken by then. We walked all the way down and around the scoop and couldn't find two decent seats. In the end, we did manage to find an empty space that could fit the both of us but it was a bit uncomfortable...

The view of the screen from where we were at was actually not bad. We just didn't have any leg space LOL. This is a photo I took standing up, just to see all the audience. People then started filing in and filling up the steps and the lower ground area in front of the screen.

This cutie pie staring at me so creepily with her new coloured contacts. I want coloured contacts too~~~

love this despite its blurness. can you see our tortilla chips? kekeke
Nia said my hair colour is more visible now but it doesn't show in photos :(
Another thing is that I really need to get a new foundation.... both my current foundation and BB cream are too fair for me.... I want the Estee Lauder double wear foundation or the Makeup Forever foundation... Fingers crossed that I might be able to get either one of them soon.....

 kekekekeke

The view of The Shard at 7.30pm.

The movie started! The movie playing that day was Philomena. If you're interested in this, just go on More London's website and see check out the list of movies they are showing for the next few weeks~
I was really impressed with the quality of the whole experience. We have decided to go back again this week. However, we both have stuff going on this week so we might not be able go but the event is still going on till the end of September so hopefully we can make a trip there once more to watch another movie!

The Shard and the office buildings at around 9.30pm~
Philomena was a fantastic movie and I'm so glad we went to see it. Cinema tickets can be so expensive in London so it was so nice to go out to see a movie for free under the London night sky with beautiful scenery all around you~ We wanted to go to one of those rooftop cinemas around London but we just didn't know whether it'll be worth our movie. We might need to go try it out to find out!

The Scoop is just next to the river thames and just a short walk away from Tower Bridge.
I love London at night. How beautiful is this? (sry for the LQ photo though :P)
Oh and we got to see the bridge open before the movie started. Although it was not my first time seeing it open, it was still so exciting!

 Whatchu thinkin' 'bout?

Because we both hadn't eaten any dinner that night, we decided to go grab some supper~ We were both craving some unhealthy food so we tried looking for the nearest KFC but it was closed :( So we headed back to Whitechapel for it.
We manage to satisfy our cravings that night~ kekeke We ate while chatting until around 11pm before heading home.
I rmb I couldn't sleep that night. It was horrible. And that sleepless night gave me a few pimples in return ugh.
I seriously need to get back to a normal sleeping schedule again. My skin is begging me to do it... so i guess i at least need to try.

Yesterday, I went over to my aunt's place to visit her before she leaves for her long trip to Spain and before my classes resume again. Auntie Veronica was there while I visited so we had a pleasant time together that day out in town. The weather was so delightful as well. And that night, my aunt cooked us a nice meal of pasta and vege. And we watched Strictly Come Dancing while having some berries with meringue.
Going back to Watford made me realise how noisy the place I live at is. But of course it's noisy because there's six of us in the flat. And one annoying person on the lower floor blasting loud music everyday... and a couple downstairs that quarrels all the time and slams their door at the same time. ughhhhh
Watford is more of a residential area so of course it's a lot quieter compared to London and there's more older people in that area too. LOL
Going back to my aunt's place and getting to sleep in that big bed again felt so nice. I actually missed the room I used to live in (the room has its own toilet and shower, how could I not miss it?!).
But I would never want to move back in with my aunt. I hope you guys don't think I hate her just from reading some of my blog posts... because I don't. It's just that our personalities clashed and I sometimes like to think that it was just not meant to be. LOL Anyway, we're both better off living by ourselves. She's used to living on her own and having her own quiet space and I like my own space as well. I can't imagine how it would have been like if I stayed there for the whole summer. It would have drove both of us crazy having to see so much of each other all the time.

I spent that night watching my aunt's new big TV! She used to own this small screen which was probably the same size of a laptop screen (can you see it in the right side of this photo?). I'm glad she finally caved and bought a big one, she deserves it.

My aunt's place is really nice and I really wished things worked out for us but it didn't. It's not like we didn't try to work things out. We are just used to being alone.

This morning, I woke up and had a chat with my aunt and then at around 10.30am, headed out to visit Nana Elsa, who is an old friend of my aunt's and I've known her for a long time too. So i went over to her place for a cup of tea and some brownies kekeke.
And after that, before heading to the tube station, I walked to where my aunt used to live 10 years ago.

I went to visit my aunt once when I was 9 years old with my uncle for about 2 months and this was where I stayed for that two months! It was nice to see that it hasn't changed at all since.

After I made my way back to London, I went to a hair salon near my place to make an appointment to cut my hair. While I was at my aunt's place, Auntie Veronica kept commenting on how long my hair was and that I should at least get a trim to make it look neater.
I have been wanting go to the hairdresser's a few months now but I just kept changing my mind so this time around, I really just had to go do it! And right now, my hair is 3 or 4 inches shorter. I decided to go for a straight cut without any layers which i'm kinda regretting right now. I should've gotten some layers but layers make my natural wavy hair look so messy....
But what's done is done and if it really bothers me then I would just have to go back to the salon.

I have some interesting things going on this week~ I applied for a job as a student helper for Queen Mary to pick up some international students from the airport this coming weekend so i think that'll be quite nice~
And I have another thing to attend to but I dont want to jinx it. >__<
If it turns out well, you'll hear from me about it. If not then, whatever.
