Things I Got Up To In June

Quite a self-explanatory title... kekeke so let's carry on~

07062015: This day, I met up with Veronica and went to Camden Market! Almost every time we meet, we go to Oxford Street and it started getting a bit boring. So since Veronica said she hasn't been to Camden Market in a long time, I suggested we go there because I haven't been there in a while as well. But I have to say that it might have been a bad idea because it was so packed on a nice sunny Sunday afternoon. We each had a burrito from one of the stalls and sat next to the canal while we ate it. After that, we went to a pub called The Engineer to have a drink. You can see here in front of me, I have a classic glass of Pimm's~
We then made our way over to Regent's Park.
After walking through the park, we still made our way back to Oxford Street lol. We went to John Lewis to have a cup of coffee and then went to the movies near Covent Garden. I can't remember what movie we watched.... which probably means the movie wasn't very good....

09062015: This appeared on my doorstep that morning and I cannot imagine my excitement! Since I came to the UK, I haven't been buying any of Beast's albums. If you have following my blog for a while, you'll know I buy each and every one of their album. So when I saw MNet was selling a signed version of Hyunseung's album, I bought it immediately without any hesitation.
I still wish I can buy the albums but I missed out on but I'm currently slightly broke (well, going to be. coz lots of expenses coming up) so no chance of getting them soon.

Very annoyed by the folded poster.
On that same day, later in the afternoon, I went to uni to print some stuff (coz I don't own a printer) and I don't know why I would have my camera with me at that time but then took a photo of the clock tower at uni.
And also took a photo of the view of the city from Mile End Road.
After I went to uni, I went to Roti King again to fill my belly with yummy Malaysian food. But this time around, I went with Ben~ We met and caught up a bit on each other's lives before he went on holiday and went back home for the summer.

10062015: Not much to say about this lol except that I love the combination of mint and coral!

15062015: The day I cut my hair!
At that time, it felt like I cut off a lot of my hair but now looking at these photos, it doesn't seem like I cut off a lot. That day, before the hairdresser cut my hair, she was like, "Are you sure you want to cut off that much?" I went, ".....nooooo.... but just do it."
I ended up really happy with it and glad that I decided to add some layers in coz the last time I cut my hair, I went for a straight cut. I feel like going even shorter now~

30062015: Not a very good quality photo to start with... but this was taken on my S3 in very bad lighting lol. I was at the Oxfam I volunteered at over the summer; I started volunteering on the 1st of June and did it till earlier this month. I mostly just scanned books to check their value and uploaded them online to sell. It was a nice experience and I met a few nice people there and met a fellow k-pop fan that also goes to Queen Mary~

Just so you know, this day was my first (and only) day off after working 7 days in a row (it was during the summer sale period)! After volunteering in the morning, I went to Oxford Street to meet Nia after she has finished work as well. The first shop we went to was obviously H&M~ I feel like I only do my (clothes) shopping there nowadays. Then we went to John Lewis to have a free slice of cake and something to drink while we chatted until the cafe closed lol. Then we walked around a bit more before we went to have dinner.

I remember I spent quite a lot of money that day.... yikes. I bought some clothes and a new bag and a pair of sandals.... but after working 7 days in a row, it felt nice to spend some money lol. The next day, when I went to work again, my manager asked me what I did on my precious day off. When I told him I went shopping, he was like, "You spend so much of your time in a store already, why would you go shopping on your day off?" I didn't really say anything to that but you know, it's different when you're the one spending the money and getting served by someone else.

We decided to go to Shoryu since I had never tried it before~ And it was delicious~ I personally think it's better than the other ramen(s) I've tried in London!

Here's a photo of the adorable Nia before I end this post~ kekeke
